Our framework
Safeguarding built into planning and delivery.
Avenida is developing its safeguarding framework with reference to the International Safeguards for Children in Sport, incorporating safeguarding into the planning, staffing, supplier selection and operational delivery of youth sporting experiences.
Our framework is designed around clear responsibilities, appropriate codes of conduct, risk assessment, reporting procedures and safer recruitment practices.
Personnel engaged in roles requiring direct contact with young people will be subject to appropriate safeguarding requirements and background checks relevant to their role and jurisdiction.
We also expect suppliers and operational partners working on youth programmes to meet appropriate safety, professional and safeguarding standards.
